First let me tell you what Technorati Authority is and why it is important to bloggers.
Technorati Authority is one of the main gauges of a blogs popularity and advertisers use this number to figure how much to pay you. So, if you increase your authority, you can increase your search engine rankings along with your advertising revenue you may receive or will start to receive if done properly.
Technorati describes authority as the number of blogs ranking ahead of you. If you have a ranking of 250,000-this means at least 250,000 blogs have more authority than you. Authority is the # of blogs that link to your site in the past 180 days. It does not matter if a site mentions you 100 times, it still only counts as 1. It will extend your 180 day period though.

You write a similar article on your blog describing how Technorati Authority is figured and link to this site at the end of the post--http://top-gear-car.blogspot.com Use the site address in a link form so that Technorati will pick it up as a mention.
