Bush in Africa
He wants us to change our minds
"Now I'm Mr. Peace!"
Needs a Legacy
Good luck in the history books.
A little late now
----------
It's cold outside, yet
Blacktop shimmers in dreams and
A bead of sweat falls.
I long for bare skin
Thunder in the distance and
Lightning in my legs
To set me on fire
And ignite my desire
To break through the ice
Golden glass wakes us
Laughter and friendship drives us
In the face of pain
And once at relief
Gravity will take us down
To naps in the shade
Dreaming the future
As the grass tickles my toes
Fleeting home for now
The heat awaiting
Mountains, waves, tall trees calling
Paradise rolling
